Space Savers for Your Bathroom

Not all house owners may be gifted with a large bathroom. But small bathrooms can designed in such a way that they may look big. The technique is to combine bathroom objects and to keep the space as whole as possible.

Keeping the small available space as whole as possible implies avoiding wall divisions. Installing a wall division between the bath tub and toilet will only be encouraged if the wall is a transparent one or a transparent shower curtain. Having a transparent wall gives the impression that the bathroom is continuous and still is a one big space. A transparent shower curtain is more preferred than a fixed transparent wall because with it hanging in a curtain rod, the curtain rod can also be used to hang in towels. In that way, the need for towel holders is eliminated and thus freeing more space. It would also be better if the transparent shower curtain has pockets with it wherein toiletries such as shampoo, soap and others can be placed, ergo, saving up more space.

Besides, avoiding wall divisions and combining bathroom objects, another thing to remember is to keep the middle space as big as possible. This can be done by installing wall-hanging fixtures of toilets and sinks. By placing these fixtures at the wall, they allow more space in the middle which gives the bathroom user more room to move and hence, giving the impression of bigger space.
