Rolling Clothes

Space is a big issue on closets especially when the clothes grow in number and would not fit anymore. Besides the growing number, another concern about clothes is the difficulty of storing them such that they will not be crumpled or damaged. But there is a simple way to deal with lack of space on closets and crumpling on clothes which is rolling.

Rolling clothes is an alternative way of storing clothes that does not crumple them. And the best part about it is – it takes up lesser space. Rolling clothes is usually done when packing clothes for traveling. But it can also be applied at home especially when space is becoming an issue on the closets.

Pants are the top candidate suited for rolling because they are made of thicker material. By folding them lengthwise and rolling them from the bottom up, pants will surely occupy lesser space in the closet and remain wrinkle free in this way. Apart from pants, socks are also very appropriate for rolling. By rolling socks, it does not only save a lot of space but rather it also prevents socks from getting mixed up. Pair socks are put on top of each other and roll them from the bottom then fold the top of one sock inward to cover the ball of socks formed. On the other hand, if rolling is done for home space saving, shirts are not good candidates. This is because shirts are made of thin materials and complicated designs which make them delicate for wrinkles and difficult to roll.
