Mirror Miracles

Residential properties can range from villas, beach houses, town houses and more. But not so many houses have the privilege of having large spaces and large rooms. One good example is a downtown apartment.

Most residential places with limited space find it hard fitting furniture and putting decorations. And for the owners to resolve this dilemma, one quick and easy tip would be creating the illusion of abundant space through mirrors.

Large houses may use mirrors as simply decorations but for places with little space to workout, they are a means to expose and enlarge the available space. Taking the apartments as example, an owner can install face to face wall mirrors on the hallways. In the living room area as well, large wall mirrors can capture the whole area and by reflecting it, the area will be perceived as large due to the multiple images seen. Other areas in the house where large mirrors will be helpful are the bathroom and bedroom. For bathrooms, a wall mirror should be installed opposing the sink and toilet. As for the bedroom, instead of installing a separate mirror on one of the walls and to save some space, full length mirrors should be installed at the doors of the cabinets.
